Concealed Carry

Service Description

This is an in-classroom and LIVE-FIRE course intended for students who are already familiar with handling a pistol or who have previously completed the Basic Pistol 101 course, though this is not a requirement before taking this training. Successful completion of the course will satisfy Oregon requirements to obtain a Concealed Carry Permit from the sheriff's office though this will not be the focus. Learning how to draw from holstered concealment and fire accurately into a target will be the main objective of this training regiment. During the classroom portions of the day, students will review introductory knowledge of pistols, defensive ammunition, holstered carry options, and Oregon law. Dry fire drills will also be conducted in preparation for the live-fire portion in the second half of the day. Afterwards, students will be given the opportunity to return to the classroom to break down and clean their weapons with instructor oversight and afforded time for Q&A. Once finished students will be given a certificate suitable for displaying. Participation in the live fire portion of this class is not necessary to pass and obtain your CCW certification but is highly recommended and encouraged. What you will need: -Pistol -150 Rounds of Ammunition -Eye/Ear Protection -Concealed Carry Holster -One Spare Magazine -Weather Appropriate Clothing -Snacks (food/water) -Paper and Pencil/Pen (for taking notes) -Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
