Seth is an NRA certified Firearms Instructor, martial artist, and Veteran. Drawing from his many years of experience both in teaching and being a perpetual student himself, Seth draws upon a lifetime of knowledge to the classroom. He brings a fun and lighthearted air to the very serious serious subject of firearms training. His friendly, professional demeanor allows students to relax so that learning can be both entertaining and easy to grasp. 

Seth strives to bring his students the most up-to-date information that the industry has to offer. in order to do this he continues his own personal development with skilled mentors from the firearms industry. These mentors include current Detectives in local law enforcement agencies and contractors for the U.S. Martials, as well as private security contractors and other former military firearms instructors. Continued education is the cornerstone of the TPB training philosophy. 

Seth has been training in the martial arts since 1990 when he was eight years old. Since then he has earned a third degree black belt in the art of Tang Soo Do, and a second degree black Belt in Nakamura Ryu Batto Do. He began teaching children's classes at 16 and has been the guest instructor at several martial arts seminars over the years. In addition, he wrote and taught a defensive tactics course for the Oregon Liquor Control Commission as-well-as Secure Transport of Oregon. While serving in the military he organized and taught Defensive tactics and advanced apprehension techniques to Law enforcement officers while serving overseas in deployed locations. 

Seth served in the United States Air Force in Security Forces (law enforcement). During this time he took part in numerous intensive firearms training that had a multitude of civilian applications, with a special focus on active shooter training. The USAF augmented his already extensive martial arts background with regimented Krave Maga instruction. While deployed Seth organized and instructed other service members in advanced apprehension techniques, weapons retention skills, knife combatives, A.S.P. baton techniques and empty hand defensive tactics. These skills, Seth draws upon and implements into TPB's courses to provide students with proven tactics they can trust.
